This Privacy Policy explains how Astrosaras ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects information you share when you use our website, services and consultations. By using Astrosaras, you agree to the practices described here.

We respect that astrology involves sensitive personal information — your birth date, time, place, and life questions. We treat this data with the same care we would treat a confidential conversation with a trusted advisor.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Identity: name, gender, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth.
  • Contact: email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, postal address (only when needed for puja or gemstone delivery).
  • Consultation context: questions, life concerns, family details shared voluntarily during readings.
  • Payment: handled by Razorpay; we do not store full card or UPI details on our servers.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type and approximate region.
  • Pages visited, time spent, referring URL.
  • Cookies and similar identifiers (see Section 6).

3. How We Use Data

  • To prepare your kundli, horoscope or numerology reading.
  • To schedule, deliver and follow up on consultations and pujas.
  • To send the report, recording or remedies you purchased.
  • To respond to messages, calls and contact-form inquiries.
  • To send service updates and (with consent) occasional offers or articles.
  • To improve the website, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable law.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate — payment gateway (Razorpay), email delivery, hosting, analytics — bound by confidentiality.
  • Senior astrologers on our panel who deliver your reading; they are bound by our internal confidentiality terms.
  • Authorities, where disclosure is required by Indian law, court order, or to protect rights, safety or property.

5. Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers within reputable hosting infrastructure. We use access controls, encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and limited internal access on a need-to-know basis.

No internet service can guarantee 100% security. While we apply commercially reasonable safeguards, you share information at your own risk. We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected, then anonymise or delete it — typically within 3 years of last interaction unless law requires longer retention.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies (session, security) and optional analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics if enabled) to understand usage. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will still function, though some preferences may not be remembered.

We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

Astrosaras services are intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Parents may request a child-name suggestion or pediatric reading on behalf of their child; in such cases the parent's contact details are used and the child's data is limited to what the parent provides.

9. Changes to Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or law. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page; continued use of Astrosaras after the change constitutes acceptance.
